Short (but sadly not obvious) answer: Don't buy clothing online.
You may pay more at the bike shop, but you save in long run because what you buy is way more likely to FIT, work well, and SUIT YOUR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Buying tights, I can't for the life of me figure out how anyone is supposed to figure out how warm a given set will be from looking at pictures online.
