Rain Rides are AWESOME!!!! Especially downpours where there is flooding and there are at least a few short distances when your hitting the water on the bottom of your pedal stroke and can't stop or you'll have to submerge your whole foot.

The occasional onciming car crosses the line to hit a puddle and drowns you but your so soaked it doesn't matter. I don't wear raingear unless it is really cold or I't is really gross on the roads, like when they just sanded the roads recently for ice and it is all piled up.

Of course last monday when I forgot to rain cover my work clothes well yuck. I don't know if I like downpours better or snow/sleet but now that I'm in Texas I don't get any snow/sleet so I guess I'll have to enjoy the rain as much as I can. I just love crappy weather. My wife doesnt' like me to ride in it though so it is a constant issue
