Looks like UofT offers training to staff that are 'assigned to a first aid station'. I know we have one at the office, so I'm gonna try to get myself some free training.

flimflam: yeah, mine went beyond standard first aid too. It was for ski patrol so there were lots of alpine-specific things and it lasted a couple full weekends if I remember correctly. And you should be able to pick up crank bros. cleats at just about any major bike shop. Try Sweet Pete's.
