need food ideas....
Hey guys I have run into a bunch of problems lately and am looking for some advice.
First off I am currently 6' 230lbs (down from a high of 292lbs). Everything was going great untill about 2 months ago. I had a problem with my rectum/anus/colon area and we'll leave it at that. This has caused a couple of operations so far and I havent been on the bike in over 2 months and this stopped all progress. I am scheduled for another operation that will put me off the bike for probably about another 2 months or more. I guess the positive side is its winter and I wouldn't ride that much anyway.
Anyway I am getting very discouraged since I used to be 220lbs 2 months ago before this happened and I gained 10lbs because I cant ride my bike setting me back a lot.
So, I am looking for a harcore/strict diet I can follow for weightloss since exersize has to be nonexistant or limited.
My current diet is along the lines of...
NO soda, alcohol, smoking
I only drink water. Occasional milk (fat free) with cereal or oatmeal but thats it.
I eat way to much bread.
breakfast is usually
3 eggs (2 egg whites, 1 whole) on a roll or english muffin
or plain oatmeal with milk
or some sort of cereal with fat free milk and banana
lunch is usually
some sort of sandwhich like cold cuts (turkey, chicken breast, or ham)
dinner is usually whatever my mom makes, a meat with some bread and a vegetable side dish.
My problem is I feel I am limiting myself to only a couple of foods. I honestly cant think of anything else to eat for breakfast thats healthy besides eggs, cereal and oatmeal. I dont know what else there is for lunch other then a sandwhich.
There has to be more food out there correct? What does everyone else eat thats healthy? What should I do to my diet that would help speed up weightloss? Any food ideas would be great. Thanks
