So yesterday my roomate gets home and tells me of his crappy day which included a citation for not having brakes on his bike. He said he comming to a light and skidded to a stop in plenty of time for the intersection and happended to come up next to a cop. The cop says hey does that thing have brakes?
so was it one of those "hey look at me, i can ride brakeless fishtailing trying to pop the back tire skids" that it seems like everyone's doing these days, or was it a controlled skip/skid to stop, trying not to scream out to everyone, "look at me..." ending with endless trackstanding trying to be the ****?
i had some fixed idiot almost run into my car last week while trying to pull some dumb assed skid, in an area i ride all the time, and can honestly say, there was no need for such a skid other than trying to show off, which i have no problem with given space and place, but in the middle of traffic, almost making me hit him was probably not that place...
