Places to start learning actual stuff

Okay so I don't really know a ton about bikes at this point, and want a good palce to start. Rather than act like i know anything or start asking meaningless questions, id like to actually find a good place to start and ask questions once ive got atleast a decent understanding of things. I don't need anything necessarily specific to fixed gear, but just a good palce to learn about how bikes are structured, how the parts work together, how to maintain them, which tools go to what, etc. Diagrams would be awesome, as would pictures, etc. Anyhow, thanks.

edit:btw if it wasnt relatively clear, id much prefer technical and mechanical stuff about the bike than getting into like learning to ride/train/etc, though the latter might be good too!
