Bikes: Specialized Hardrock Sport [1998], Dahon Speed P8 2007, 1994 Diamond Back Ascent and a couple of Schwinn Stingrays [one boys, one girls] from circa 1977.

I made a decision today how I am going to approach the grocery store shopping dilemma. I started this thread with the idea of steering my bike around thru the isles. But after reading all the responses [thanks] I've concluded that could be a hit and miss solution.

Being the sort that hates being told what to do/what not to do . . . I've decided to keep a lower profile. I need to preface this with the info that my bike is a folder. I stitched-up some 1" wide webbing today and made a strap that that hooks to the opposite ends of the folded bike and is just the right length to hang over the handle on most shopping carts.

This way I use the shopping cart in its intended fashion . . . and my bike goes along for the ride. Haven't tested it yet . . . but I don't see any problems mechanically or PC-wise.
