Well I think I found the answer on bikelist.org. Since I posed the question I thought I'd share what I discovered. The Team 3V's in the mid 1990's were made by Mondonico in Italy for Terelli. These differ from the 3V's made just prior to that in California most notibly by the fastback seatstays. They don't have serial #'s but rather a code. Mine is 60M5 which translates as size 60cm, M for Mondinico, and 5 for 1995. It's a great Italian bike and I do like the look of the Masi decals better than the Mondonico ones but...seems kinda' weak to put the Masi name on it. Maybe it was a Masi design, but that seems unclear from what I've read so far. I bet it must have pissed off Alberto to have "Masi's" made down the street with Faliero's signature on them no less.
