A taxi driver wasn't pleased that I took the lane to avoid being doored by parked cars, so he honked.

I checked my mirror, saw him, waved at him(as advised by the folks on bikeforum) before stopping at the lights.
Upon stopping, I turned around and saw his WTF look with both hands up. I replied with the same WTF look. Then he drove up next to me, and told me this:

"You are disrespecting my passenger. Now she has to wait and pay more."

Hahaha. Pay more? Isn't that exactly what he wanted?
He should be thanking me.

Hmm... How do you pay respect to a taxi passenger anyways?
