Yes mine is full 105. As for the seat, it is allright, but I am shopping for a new saddle for Christmas. I average 35-50 mile rides on the weekends and have done as many as 70 and sometimes I feel a little sore. Proper fit and tweaking the saddle height helped allot. I am just looking for a better saddle that is not too outragous in price. I have been looking at several at the Bike shop, one I can't think of the name, but the other one is a Selle San Marco. For now the Bontrager saddle is okay, but I am sure there is better. I don't know if I would go with a gel pad cover, I would look for a different saddle if your not comfortable. I think the saddle covers would add some bulk and weight to the seat. In the long run, it is what ever makes your bottom comfortable in the saddle. I have seen all kinds, my friend rides an old Brooks leather saddle. Love the bike though, its a good entry level bike, You got yours for 850, thats a good deal, mine ran 1099.
