You got a very good price for the Brooks. They recently jumped in price because Brooks changed distributers in the US and because of the current dollar/pound value. They probably still had some in stock merchandise that they had gotten at the lower price. Last month, I quickly bought another one from Rivendell because they were still at the old price of $70. Their price has gone up to $95 now also. Same with Harris Cyclery.

As for my squeaking honey B67, after I lowered the saddle most of the squeak went away, and it was a lot easier to pedal the bike too . There still is a little bit of a squeak and, if I have some time this weekend, I'll try the suggestions of tightening the bolts and putting in a rubber shim. Thanks.
