Not about slaving away in courses you hate so that you can be "employable" afterwards. Or at least it shouldn't be. I'm majoring in Philosophy. I'd take a course on bicycles if they offered one. Fuggit.
YES! Math degree here, got it to get a good job. Now, I'm going through a completely different program to teach abroad. Even though it's just a certificate and not as glamorous as a degree it is what I really wanted to do in the first place.
