I find your situation very similar to mine. I have a 2004 KLIEN AURA XV with Bontrager Race wheels and I've been itching for a set of Ksyrium ES's but don't know if its too much wheel for the bike. I believe the answer to your question depends on how much spending money you have? and how badly do you want a new bike?
Klein makes an awesome product and you don't see many of them around.
Bottom line: Buy new wheels (i think)
