As with my answers to all bike vs bike questions. It depends on fit and feel. If both server the purpose and both fit the budget, it has to be 100% comfortable. Simple formula that to many people make too complicated by throwing in things like "country of origin"
just another factor to take into consideration when making an educated purchase. Of course the main factor should be fit and feel. OP was asking for opinions. In my opinion a bike manufactured in the states has an upper hand to a frame cranked out in china. It's referred to as pride in quality.
