Check pricing at www.danscomp.com and I am a big fan of the DK Cincinnati for doing an excellent job at giving you value for your money in an entry level general purpose freestyle bmx bike.

If you are looking to race... don't ask me, I know very little of racing.

If you are looking for flatland, go to www.flatlandfuel.com and pick up a DK Signal.

Bike shops have some completes that are likely over priced and quite often the shop knows very little about freestyle and won't just give you the wrong bike, they will actually justify components that are not correct for freestyle bmx. Be very wary of bike shops. Ask around, get information from experienced riders, check www.bmxtest.com and don't just go buy something because you have $300.00 burning a hole in your pocket.
