I think a lot of people miss out on the bike maintenance part of this hobby. Bikes are fragile, finickey things and always seem to need a little mechanic's TLC. I recommend buying a book on how to maintain your bike and trying to solve this problem yourself. I love maintaining, fixing, and adjusting my bike and feel kinda sorry for folks who just bring theirs in to the shop to let someone else have all the fun.
