Ditto what Chris said regarding removal of tires. My mountain bike tires can be removed and replaced using my hands only. On my road bike, I need my hands, tire levers, and a good vocabulary of cuss words. Wheel removal is easy; just make sure that the rotor goes between the pads. No need to release noodles or straddle wires with disks.
The biggest thing I found is you'll need to clean and lube the mountain bike more frequently than the road bike.
