I'm not disagreeing with everyones sentiments because I would be happy for Floyd wherever he goes and wish him much success. But. . . all this talk about needing to leave the team to get a chance to shine is based primarily on pre ProTour structures. In this next era of cycling, there will be teams that try to win at the 3 grand tours with 1 or 2 GC leaders, then their will be teams that throw their money at 3 different GC leaders and try to focus on winning them all. We don't know which approach Discovery will take, or any other team for that matter. These times, they are a changin'.
