Anyway, in regards to the fixie, no the backward stomp on the chain didn't work, but the LBS I went to this morning had a long-handled chain whip with a sturdy -looking 1/8" chain. Two guys got it off fairly easy. Guess I'm a weak tit.

Gonna slab gobs of greas on the threading this time around. Thanks for help guys
