Don't believe the hype - ISIS is perfectly fine. Mfgs are heading to outboard bearings because that's what people have been hyping themselves to believe is superior, so the market just may be following the whim [sic] of the people here. The only issue with ISIS that came about was through certain mfgs not having good QC *coughFSAcough*, thereby people associated ISIS with bad product and so on... Really, they're perfectly fine.
There is a claim that the outboard style leads to a stiffer crank, which may be true, but the penalty is weight. Either way, it works just fine. Your choice.

In terms of an ISIS BB with ceramic that's fairly light, look up 'Token' products on eBay... mostly the same stuff as all the other top ones out there, with better pricing. They've got a Ceramic ISIS that's carbon + ti. Great product!

Fairwheel, btw, is a great boutique - I'm from Tucson, I love the place. BUT, they're over priced - period. You can find most of the same items that are not 'ultra exclusive', like the Clavs or the r.d. faceplates, on eBay for much, much, much less.
