Microbrews can sometimes figure to be just about as good of a deal as the cheap stuff when they're floating in the 6-8 percent range of alcohol by volume, vs. 4-5 for regular cheap (watery) beers. Sales at the store don't hurt either.

but i, if faced with the "i only have 5 bucks and i'm broke and coincidentaly do attend college" predicament choose hamms. cheaper (3.60 at fred meyers n ****) leaves enough money for a candy bar! or a swischer or black n mild if you feel real gangsta.
