I have a BBB (I think) 1/8" chainwhip with a hook spanner for lockrings on the other end. Pretty nice tool.

Miche makes splined 1/8" sprockets, but I think the spline system is their own and not compatible with Shimano. They also have rings which have their spline system on the outside and a regular track hub thread on the inside. The spline ring is so low, that a regular lock ring is high enough to keep the sprocket from falling out of the splines.
