Assos Bib Sizing Recommendation
Yes, there are lots of past threads on this, but since I got some conflicting advice, I thought I'd ask opinions.
I want to get the F1 Mille bibs for my husband for his birthday. He's never worn bibs before but has been having a lot of problems with being comfortable in various pairs of new shorts this year. The mostly rave reviews on the Assos were encouraging that he could once again be comfortable riding.
He wears PI shorts - XL. He's 5'10", about 210 lbs, 36" waist, long torso and short legs with big, muscular thighs. He DOES NOT like tight fit in any clothing.
Indie Bike recommended the TIR (XLG but wider) and Randall Scott recommended a Large. Kind of a big gap between the recommendations.
Any help would be appreciated.
