I don't think they are better, personally. NWD is a good series. I don't feel like posting the reasons why, do a search, I used to do a lot of reviews of movies and I basically stopped at Roam as it was the last movie I bought.

NWD is usually what the kids like, its very very freeride oriented and is like watching a skate board video. Roam and collective has a message and are filmed like a short movie.
