When I left the house the thermometer showed 48F. When I got to the parking structure, it felt considerably warmer (more asphalt, fewer trees). Then to the River, where there was a cold mist over the water and trail. It's weird and cool to pass through those micro climates.

Not something you'd notice riding in your car, that's for sure.
I have lots of those little microclimates too, changes in temp and humidity w/ elevation and landscape... cool stuff.
