Apparently you've never tried them. We have . . . tested them for the company on our tandem. Fine on super smooth roads. Any kind of non-smooth road and it's like riding a bronco. No thanks!
I not only tried them, I ride them... everyday. My commute has some beat up roads.
I'm sure you'll say I'm wrong cuz that's just the way it is with this subject, but I'm gonna guess you tried the previous generation tire, you got too high PSI cuz my tires do a fine job soaking up the ground, or you ride too heavy on the bike.
For anyone who's tired of flats or don't want to deal with them on their commute, try them.
