Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I am sure there are other options closer than 8 hours . . . part of it is that I just like Snowshoe and my family and I have gone there a number of times and I would like to see it in the summer.
The more I read the more I hear wet, rocks, roots. Sounds a bit more technical that I would want, especially with a hardtail (although it is light)
