Many, many years ago, before Cannondale made bicycles and only made bags, panniers, gloves and clothing, their stuff carried a logo of an antique train station with a little Cannondale sign. I'm pretty sure it's plain old Cannon-Dale. Your friend is goofy.

That's why I never owned a Cannondale; I remember how bad their clothing sucked back then.
