There is no ****ing way your wheel comes that far off the ground as part of an accidental hop especially with clipless unless you have literally never done any sort of standing start before. I don't know if he was always planning to pretend it was a mistake or if the idea only came to him from golden skeletons but he deserved to be called on it.

This is funny because I was there, and I know Mr NathBDP in real life, and I know for a fact that you are just wrong. He did that little hop accidentally, probably out of lack of experience with standing starts.
