I disagree. I lived through a three year drought, and it got to the stage where it was impossible to get any traction at all on the road. I then rode through the downpour that broke the drought (10 inches of rain in five hours). The downpour washed the oil and all the other crap away, and finally gave me some traction.

On topic content: Didn't get a temperature reading tonight, too busy demonstrating the clear superiority of a bicycle in gridlock, and fatally owning some moron who tried in vain to stop me, but only ended up making a dick of himself.
