24 hole powertap durability

Is there any way that a 24 hole rim would support a 200lb rider?

I'm looking into building up a PowerTap, and happen to have a 24 hole rear wheel in the form of a Roval carbon clincher. Essentially, that is a Reynolds Mid-V rim that I would be lacing a PowerTap to. Is there any way of making this setup work? Or am I just tempting disaster? The roads around here suck, and I would be using the wheel all the time; but if it's possible, I'd like to give it a try and was hoping that some other big guys have used a 24 hole setup on the rear with success. If they've been a nightmare, please tell me that too!

Thanks in advance!
