Nike Cycling Shoes?
I got a pair of Nike Alpin III's with carbon soles, etc etc the other day for about 1/3 of new cost because it's the off-season, etc etc...
...now I'm reading reviews on the internet and hearing that they are possibly known for cracking easily, etc. Not what I wanted to hear, even if I got a good deal.
I started looking around and thinking about it and realized that I don't think I've ever really seen someone riding with Nike cycling shoes -- this might be a result of the fact that I know a lot of looks-oriented and/or politically-minded people who wouldn't be caught dead wearing them...
...but is there anything inherently inferior about these shoes? Should I take them back?
Thanks in advance! (And apologies if this is the wrong forum.)
