I had a pair of the 10//2 carbons. I got them free with a big Nike kit I got for a coaching gig. They retailed for $300 and were identical to those that Lance wore in his last Tour, other than the 10//2 branding.

I did NOT like them. I loved the carbon sole, but the rest of the shoe sucked. The buckle has a lower TPI than Sidi and it doesn't have the double/half ratchet. The piece that goes over the top is a big plastic sheet that doesn't conform to your foot at all. The insole had a higher density patch over the cleat area, which developed a high-spot when you wore it, which quickly turned into a hot spot. The heel cups are really wide and poorly formed, and they scratched up my crank.

I honestly can't see how Lance could deal with them year after year. I wore them for about 8 months because I couldn't let go of the carbon soles (previously rode Genius 2s). Finally, the right deal on some carbon Sidis hit Craigslist. I bought the Sidis for $50 and sold the Nikes for $75

Now I have it all: world-class upper, and carbon over my cleat (not a full CF sole -- but stiff where it needs to be).
