Hi There,

I have a 2008 Trek 520 touring bike that is equipped with Dia-Compe 287 Aero brake levers. I've started wearing mittens while riding this bike (it was 27 degrees F this morning) and I would like to decrease the reach distance for my Dia Compe brake levers.

Is anyone here familiar with this type of brake lever? Can the reach distance for these levers be adjusted?

These are the kind of brake levers for drop handlebars that can be used with direct pull "V brakes."
