I hear this particular myth all the time.

not really a myth. check the geometries on their website and you'll see why Felts (well at least the carbon road bikes anyway) fit long (and not necessarily 'freakishly long') torsoes. I have a long torsoe, and my felt fits me better than high end carbon frames from any other manufacturer.

iI am 5' 10" and ride a felt team carbon frame in a 54cm. If you are 5'6" and on a 56cm I'd have to say either YOU have a freakishly long torsoe or...... well, then you are REALLY stretched out. or your bike doesn't fit.
