I also am dealing with a rough end of year, see http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=361922, my way of dealing with things is to let the initial impact hit and then try to step back and put things in perspective. Obviously with no knowledge of your problem this may or may not help but for me if I can focus on everyone is healthy, no one is homeless and kids have to sort out their own lives at some point I can get to the point where the problems don't drag me down. Keep riding as this is the one thing you can do for yourself that will make your problems go away even for a short period.
