Should check with "Oink", about his Montello. He and I have "the same but different", paint.

His Montello was, he/I believe, a "show bike"; mine? - no info.

Is mine an '85, '86, or '87? - Don't know.

The serial number on my fork (only have frame & fork) is "SS 171", no number on the frame.

I aquired the frame & fork at the same tyme, believing that they are a "set".

Everything is as clear as mud.
