When I had mine done I was nervous as hell. I drove to the next state just to find a doctor that I felt really comfortable with. It cost me $4,400 at the time, but I wouldn't have trusted some low-ball guy with my eyesite. Now I am sure that all of them are much cheaper, since more people are having it done.

I didn't need any touch-ups and the 'dry eyes' thing was the only thing that took a while to get over- not a problem now. Of course, dry eye's were a problem before I had the surgery and were the main reason I had so many troubles with contact lenses.
