ACD stands for Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal. It is not an admission of guilt, nor is it an affirmation of innocence. It means essentially that if you don't get arrested for 6 months, the District Attorney (D.A. --the city's prosecutor) will dismiss the charges against you, and the case record will be sealed. Bear in mind, however, that while a sealed record is supposed to stay sealed, in certain instances courts have re-opened them anyway. Also, if you DO get arrested within 6 months, the case will be opened and the charges will come back. The 6 month time period normally starts from the court date, not the ticket date.
So be good until at least March 2008.
