If one of my two favorite LBS (Leucadia Cyclery and Encinitas Bicycle Retailer) has what I want in stock, I am happy to support a deserving neighborhood business. If I need to special-order anything, particularly any vintage part or component, it makes far more sense to buy it over the Internet, where eBay or CraigsList may even be the
sole source if LooseScrews or Harris Cyclery doesn't have it.
