Got a set of Nashbar MTB panniers in the spring. First the shock cord on one pulled out, rendering it unuseable. I could drill some holes and install my own cord. Then the strap handle on the other broke. To be fair I kept a 10 lb SLA in that bag. Again, fixable. Last week, the two lock-nutted frame hooks on that bag started getting loose. Ditto, fixable. I commute and would like a bag that doesn't need fixing every few months.
