It doesn't sound like a lot of it was the kind of foot traffic businesses need. As for the tourists, Lansing just doesn't have the tourist trade that Denver does; it must attract locals.
Ummm... it was 7 AM on a Saturday... none of the businesses were open at the time. (Well... a couple of coffee shops were open)
That was the LEAST amount of people I've ever seen down there...
