I'm with Machka on this one. I've had a pair of both the Axiom Lasalles and the larger Axiom Champlains for a while now and have nothing but praise for them. I think I paid about $75 for each pair which is an outstanding value (almost a steal). The Axioms are well made, come with spare parts and a waterproof cover and a nice attachment system. I have an older pair of Nashbar MTB panniers and they were very poorly made but they were cheap and like Ken above, I was constantly having to work on them to make them usable again.
