HI!
I'm a newcomer to this BMX forum although I do post on the Classic and Vintage, Mountain Biking and Road Cycling forums.

Anyway, I just bought a BMX style bike for my son through Craigslist. It's a Kent Ambush Uplander. I tried looking it up online for bike specs but have not been able to find any info at all. I don't even have the bike in hands yet, my brother-in-law bought it for me and will hand it over to me on Thanksgiving day. He told me that it is in excellent shape and the seller sold it to him $10 below the advertised price of $50 for $40. Was this a good deal?

I am wondering if anyone reading this forum either has some info on this particular model or has an online site where some info including specs such as weight and frame composition may be found about it. My 13 year-old son is not really a BMX bike "trick" rider but wanted a decent BMX bike to ride around with his buddies. I'm sure that he wouldn't mind though learning how to do some "tricks" on it too.

I would appreciate and welcome any input about this bike that anyone has.
