What i meant by no regard to light componets is that there is of corse lighter carbon components and of corse lighter groups aswell.
The frame itself weights 1205 gram for size 18".
And yes the fork is a SID Team, weight is 1326 grams, poplock weights 50 grams.

My next project will be a fullsuspension bike with a frame from China.
That will be very interesting to try, the projected weight will be 10,7kg based on the actual weights of the carbon HT.
I just have to figure out wich shock to use. Perhaps the DT XR carbon? Hmmm
