That's crazy man, no insurance. I sell it for a living. A renters policy with about 10K contents is $150 max. If you are still considered a member of your parents household, you might be covered on their policy subject to deductible. They usually have 10% of their contents covered away from the resident premises anywhere in the world. Call them and have them ask their agent. In the mean time, get your own renters policy and SCHEDULE any bikes you own. Good luck

Definitely check with your parents policy if they own a home or if they have a renters policy. As mentioned above there is usually coverage for stuff kept off premises anywhere in the world. Hopefully you kept your receipt for the bike or the shop where you purchased can get you a dup. copy.
