I know what you mean about an empty train. I shared a 40' 5 mile-per-gallon bus with one other person this morning. We would have been better off each driving a separate Chevy Suburban from a traffic congestion, fuel economy and emissions standpoint.
Fortunately, I'm not an environmentalist. I just like to have fun on my bike, but not 30 miles of fun when it's 17 degrees outside.
