Interesting note on speed, calories and elevation. I agree that speed lags and the calories thing is off. But, I have found that if you let the GPS and the barometer sync up before you ride the overall elevation profile is pretty good. Moreover, given the limitations of both a barometer and GPS, not sure how you could make it more accurate.
I would also add that I have had to send mine back for warranty work two times. Garmin was very quick to service it. The second time they even paid the postage (next day air) both ways. But, at the cost of a lap top computer (at least when I bought mine), I think that the reliability should be better.
