Twelve years ago: dog attack resulted in road rashes on arms and legs and bent handlebar. Dog went into ditch, probably as dazed as me...what can I say?
Ten years ago: collided with a BMW which turned left in front of me. Totally her fault and insurance company agreed. My bike and my left leg went through her windshield which resulted in a long deep cut that required tons of stitches. After being carried on the hood for like an eternity, I landed on my back. X-rays revealed a fracture in the spine which eventually healed. Walked like a bent old man for months. The bike was a crumpled mess and the insurance company gave me $1200 for it.
