What cracks me up about your post is that you seem to want to take all the credit for America's literature, music, and art. And yet, all of that is a product of immigrants from other countries. With the exception of native American Indians, anything American is really English, European, African, Asian, or South American. Of course, you don't seem to want to take credit for ruining both the economy and the environment, which greedy America has been very good at.
These are the ones I like the best. Try as you might, you can't fake music and literature.
AC/DC sucks, INXS sucks, ONJ sucks, Kylie Minogue is awesome but was anything but life-changing, Bee Gees, Midnight Oil, well, they suck too. I like how you didn't even try with literature, which was a wise move.
Immigrants? Well, yeah, that's kind of America's deal. See, we wreaked ethnocide upon our native peoples, too. The whole melting pot thing, remember? You kangaroo-lovers are homogeneous by our standards, and by most people's, actually. "G'day, Bruce!" And we ruined the economy and the environment, did we? I mentioned earlier that you produce more carbon emissions per capita than Americans, which is true, and which would be pretty easily explained if you had a fast-chugging and powerful economy, which you don't. What exactly are you producing? Wallabee shoes probably. Not even like Clark's Wallabees, which are awesome, but like actual shoes for wallabees. Dumb jaffers. I can totally see where you're coming from with the ruining the world economy thing, too. If by "ruining it" you mean "maintaining the national and international clout necessary to carry it for the past half century." You guys jumped right into Iraq, too, which is hilarious.
Seriously, you're not convincing anybody. This is Canada's problem, too. Canadians all brag about what they've done for the world, and how their country's more progressive and beautiful and better, which it is in a lot of ways. But all the bragging makes them seem like they're not really sure if they like their country that much. If you're so happy about keeping the secret, then keep it. Bragging about beaches and crappy music probably tells me way more about your national personality than you'd like me to know.
